Short entry.

I've started sumbiting new stuff recently. Only a little, of course, but I'll be starting a portfolio soon.

I'll have MUCH more to share!

Why have I been gone so long?

I was finally given the chance to be hired and I work at Starbucks. One of the most busiest ones in Toronto. Can you believe it's the 2nd top grossing one in North America too!

Hours have been insane and hopefully I'll get weekend off soon.

Haha, speak of the devil, I get a call, just now, to come in a bit earlier for work. XD

Winter is going to be HELL with these hours. LMAO!

First of all I just want to be very happy and smiley and say THANK YOU for all the pageviews!!

I couldn't do it without all of my visitors. Sure, it's only a thousand(+), but only back in September I had less than 300.

I want to advise you all of some new art I am working on and that over the next couple of weeks(maybe months), I'll be submitting sketches and then after, paintings.

They will belong to a series of Mythological Creatures. I am working on a simple Centaur at the moment. I am trying out a new style for myself and have a talented artist as my inspiration.

Stephanie Pui-Min Law has some of the most beautiful watercolour art and I adore the way she depicts trees. The little nymphs or creatures living among and apart of the tree is amazing.

Recently, I was hired at Starbucks, in Toronto, and it is still quite hard to get the hang of saying "I have a job.", but I like saying it over and over.

Now, what I am saying this all for, is that I am curious about finally getting the Nikon D70 that I have been interested in for quite some time.

If I did this, it would mean either get more memory for our present computer, or get a laptop that eventually I will need for school in a year.

Laptop!! XP~

Looks like my savings account will come in handy soon!

Hey guys! I've been pretty busy with trying to find places to get a job. What with all the things I want to save up for, I'll need one to survive.

I've been just dying for my own Pentax K1000 to work with Film again. Everyone close to me knows I want my own Digital SLR (maybe a Nikon D70?). I adore books and I'm advidly going to used bookshoppes. Plus my tea, which I cannot go without.

I'm not hard to manage, am I.

With all of this going on I can still find time to feel like total crap. Alot of things are very confusing now and art seems to help. I've gotta alot more aquainted with DA and I joined some groups. I should have some new watercolour paintings, photographs, and maybe even some contests up soon.

Would you guys enter if you won something by me? I am wiling to do art trades, so if you want to please send me a note!

I've uploaded a new Dev ID (sorry if it pops up twice, had to resize!) and I love it!

The curves tool has become something of a friend to me. There is a great tutorial somewhere in my favourite and it was in the features March 16th.

The photographer says that "she wanted to show me her shoes." and all I can think of is being her age and wanting to do the same. I really love the angle of this too.

I have this clay snail I made when I was 12 in Potery and it lives still in it's shell. I get the feeling of death and emptiness here.

Heard of "rule of thirds"? If your a photographer and haven't, SHAME! I think it's used nicely and I like the idea of n empty swing. A child no more.

I've been a little sick lately and my bed is giving my horrible headaches. Foot spasms don't help either. Wow, it all just hits at once, doesn't it?

Job front = nothing and I still haven't gone to YES. I will this week, if it's not too bad. I'll have TTC fare, thank goodness!

I await a packet from my friend every morning too, which is fun and frustration at the same time. I think my Mail woman doesn't like our house. No loves. ;__;

I hope you all stay healthy though! Spring is around the corner. I know, I've seen tulip shoots <3
